One man injured as police investigate series of incidents on Big River First Nation

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a fight broke out on the Big River First Nation.

On Monday night, RCMP were called to the community after hearing reports of an injured man. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators found out that a man approached two homes on the First Nation and threatened the occupants with a gun.

One incident allegedly happened on Monday with the second occurring on Tuesday.

RCMP do not believe the incidents are random.

The suspect in these cases has still not been found and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

He stands 5-7 and weighs 170 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes, tattoos on both temples.

Residents of Big River First Nation can expect an increased police presence in the community as they investigate these incidents.
