Human remains found near North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP said they have discovered human remains in the forested area southeast of North Battleford.

Officers said the remains were reported on the morning of Sept. 11 and the Major Crimes Unit was called in.

The person has not yet been identified and police are working with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.

No other details are available at this time.
