RCMP searching for men who allegedly threatened two people in Nipawin

Police in Nipawin say a group of men threatened two other people in the town and they are still on the run.

On Sept. 7, around 6 a.m., RCMP received a report of suspicious people around 5^th Street West.

An investigation found that two or three men, one potentially with a firearm, threatened two other people before leaving in a red van.

RCMP are still investigating the case and asking anyone in the 500 block of 5^th Avenue West to contact police if they saw anything suspicious between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Investigators are also asking residents in the area to check their cameras for any footage of a red van or suspicious activity.
