An earlier version stated the search warrant was executed in North Battleford when, in fact, it happened in the Town of Battleford. battlefordsNOW apologizes for the error.

Three men from North Battleford are facing several charges after a drug and firearm investigation in the city.

On Sept. 8, the North Battleford Gang Task Force executed a search warrant on a home in the 200 block of 21 Street West in the Town of Battleford.

Officers ended up finding 28 grams of suspected cocaine and an illegally possessed firearm.

The three men, who range in age from 29 to 40 years old, were arrested and face a combined 16 charges.

This includes possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a firearm contrary to an order, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Each was scheduled to make an appearance in a North Battleford provincial courtroom on Sept. 11.
