Mr. Brent Alan Gristwood resident of North Battleford, passed away at the Royal University Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the age of 63 years.  Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Rebekka Gristwood of North Battleford, SK, and Jennifer Gristwood of Ontario; son, Jeff Gristwood of Ontario.  He will also be remembered by his siblings: Bob (Diana) Gristwood, William “Bill” Gristwood, Don (Pat) Gristwood, Linda (Herman) Dyck, Sandra Mocknowed, Diana (Bill) Sweet, Pat Nolan; sister -in-law, Rae Gristwood.  He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Gristwood; step-son, Brad Gristwood; brothers: Rod Gristwood, and Richard Gristwood; father, James Gristwood; mother, Edith Oxenham Yeo.

Brent was born in North Battleford, SK and was the youngest of 9 children.  He worked for Tri-City Surveys now know as Meridian Surveys.  He was an avid dart player and a legion member.  He enjoyed playing horse shoes on the weekends at Turtle Lake.  He was the best grandpa to all of his four-legged grandchildren.  If so desired, memorial donations in memory of Brent’s name may be made directly to Amgits @ SHNB PO Box 39 North Battleford, SK S9A 2X8.
