Cowboy hat-wearing tractor driver threatens vehicle occupants near Pierceland

Pierceland RCMP are looking to identify a man in a black cowboy hat, wearing a plaid shirt who was driving a tractor hauling bales near Pierceland yesterday.

Officers from the Pierceland detachment say a person had stopped their vehicle on the side of Highway 55 when the man approached and threatened them with a gun.

The victim got back in their car, drove to safety and called the police.

Officers started looking for the suspect immediately and are asking the public to report all information about the incident.

The suspect is an older man with heavy build and balding white hair. Along with a black cowboy hat, he was wearing a blue plaid shirt, brown suspenders, black boots and wire-framed glasses.

He was driving a green tractor and hauling hay bales.
