A company from Biggar has pleaded guilty and been fined following a workplace incident nearly three years ago.
On June 19, AGI Envirotank pleaded guilty to violating the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and was fined $1,500 with a $600 surcharge.
The charges stemmed from an incident on Oct. 5, 2020, in Biggar when a worker was injured while attempting to press a seized pin from an overhead travelling crane.
Two other charges were withdrawn.
