More suspects facing drug-related charges following RCMP investigation

Two people are facing drug-related charges following an RCMP investigation.

Police report the Battlefords Gang Task Force has made additional arrests yesterday related to what’s known as “Project Falter.”

The Battlefords Gang Task Force arrested Jake Mason-Lank, 29, and Annaka Pooyak, 22, both of North Battleford, for the charge of trafficking cocaine. Pooyak also faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Their charges stem from a six-month investigation into a large drug-trafficking network operating in Battleford and North Battleford.

Both were released from custody and are scheduled to attend North Battleford Provincial Court at 2 p.m. on May 29.
