City extends Community Clean Up Day

As a result of the inclement weather, the City of North Battleford has decided to extend its Community Clean Up Day, originally scheduled for Friday.
Parks and Recreation Director Cheryl DeNeire is advising residents that due to the snowfall that started Wednesday in the Battlefords, the city will extend the opportunity for people to come by city hall and pick up gloves and bags for community clean up efforts until April 26.
Also, if people are doing their own clean up, the city is asking them to leave their bags outside for pick up by the Parks and Recreation Department until April 26, and the bags will be picked up.
The city notes there will be no pickups on Saturday and Sunday.
