Warrants issued after four suspects stop and steal vehicle from highway

Onion Lake RCMP are searching for four armed suspects that forced a vehicle on the highway to stop for a robbery.

Two adults were in the vehicle on Highway 797 on Monday around 8 a.m. when four armed people on foot approached the vehicle, forced it to stop and had the occupants move into the backseat. The suspects drove the victims a short distance before dropping them off and fleeing in their vehicle.

No physical injuries were reported to police. Officers recovered the vehicle later that day in Onion Lake.

Wilson Tyler Mountain, 40, Charlie Chief, 19, and Alex Dillon, 27, are all from Onion Lake. Each person was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of pointing a firearm, and one count of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Warrants have been issued for their arrests.

Mountain, also known as Tyler Mountain, is described as 5-7 and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police are working to obtain a photo of him.

Charlie Chief is described as 5-4 and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police are also working to obtain a photo of him.

Alex Dillon is described as 5-5 and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Onion Lake RCMP are working to identify the fourth suspect.
