Early Years Family Resource Centres announced for Tisdale and Île-à-la-Crosse
Tisdale and Île-à-la-Crosse will soon have Early Years Family Resource Centres, the provincial and federal governments announced on Friday.
The governments announced the total allocation for the projects is $1.3 million for startup funding for resource centres in six communities across the province. Kindersley, Regina, Saskatoon, and Warman, /Martensville will all also soon get resource centres.
The Early Years Family Resource Centres help families with young children access programs and services to help with their children’s development.
“We are pleased to announce further support for families of Saskatchewan through these six new Early Years Family Resource Centres,” Education Minister Dustin Duncan said. “These centres offer resources, referrals and programming to hundreds of families across Saskatchewan, all free of charge and on a walk-in basis.”
