Mintos & Battlefords game cancelled after puck causes water leak

The Prince Albert Mintos game against the Battleford Stars had to be cancelled with just under 10 minutes to go in the third period due to a water leak.

Fans in attendance at the Art Hauser Centre Wednesday night said a puck was deflected and appeared to possibly hit and break a fire sprinkler.

P.A. had been leading the Stars 3-2 at the time.

According to the Mintos, the League will review to see if the last 10 minutes will need to be played at a later date.
