Battlefords RCMP investigating after man injured by firearm

Battlefords RCMP are investigating after a man was injured by a firearm.

Police received a report at 6:15 a.m. on Friday that a person was injured at a home on the 1200 block of 108 Street in North Battleford.

The man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police determined two armed people entered the home. A firearm was discharged and the man was injured. The individuals, described as wearing red bandannas, then left the home.

Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate the incident with help from Saskatchewan RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

Anyone with information can call the Battlefords RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
