RCMP responding to serious collision on Highway 17, north of Lloydminster

Maidstone RCMP are currently responding to a serious vehicle collision on Highway 17, about 20 kilometres north of Lloydminster.
Police reported at about 1:55 p.m. today that as a result of the incident, Highway 17 will be blocked during the investigation.
The RCMP are advising drivers to expect delays if they are traveling in the area. Motorists are also asked to slow down.
The public can monitor the Highway Hotline for updates on the road closure. Police report the investigation is expected to take several hours to complete.
