Herman was survived by his children Johnny Semaganis, Natalie Quinn (Gregg), Roberta Kam, Shelly Jimmy (Sheldon), Harvey Checkosis (Kathy), Vern Checkosis, Hermalene Checkosis, step son Carl Checkosis and adopted son Ryan Baptiste (Clarisse), nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren,

nieces and nephews.

Herman is now peacefully meeting his loved ones that passed before him.

He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Emma Jackson, his great grandparents, his sister Ivana Semaganis, his nephews Arthur, Dereck and Jonathan Semaganis, his close cousin Andy Pete Sr., his step son Ricky Checkosis and his great  grandchildren Keegan Checkosis and Joel Checkosis.
