SaskPower regulators vandalized with a firearm

A case of serious vandalism near St. Walburg was reportedly done using firearms.

SaskPower has advised the Turtleford RCMP detachment of an incident that had occurred sometime between October and March, where two regulators appear to have been shot at and have multiple bullet holes. The total damage is estimated at more than $50,000.

The regulators are located along Highway 3 near the St. Walburg gun range on the south side of the highway. As police continue to investigate, they are asking for the public’s assistance in providing relevant information.

ATV missing

Turtleford RCMP are also looking for a stolen All Terrain Vehicle (ATV).

The report came in this morning from a residence in Glaslyn, stating a blue 2002 Polaris Sportsman Touring 850 was taken. This ATV had a two-up seat attache dand a windshield.

Anyone with information on either of these incidents can call the Turtleford detachment, 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
