Water leak causes flood at Children’s Hospital
Construction on the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital suffered a setback this month.
Parts of the facility flooded on Jan. 25 after a water line in one of the main floor bathrooms sprung a leak. Water also seeped into the floor below before it was stopped.
“While this is an unfortunate setback to progress in isolated areas of the building, construction in other areas of the hospital is not affected by the leak,” a Saskatchewan Health Authority spokesperson wrote in an email to 650 CKOM.
