RCMP Report Pt.1: Business rammed in Battleford
Battlefords RCMP are investigating multiple break-ins in the community, including one from Monday morning that left the entrance of a business in Battleford damaged.
A black pickup appears to have rammed into the front door of the building on 22nd St. shortly before 5:00 a.m. in order to gain entry. Based on the surveillance footage that’s available, Sgt. Neil Tremblay said the detachment believes there are three suspects involved and are hoping to gain more evidence to possibly identify the vehicle.
“If we get better photos or video surveillance footage, we will send it out,” he said. Right now, we can’t tell if the plate is dirty, covered or removed.”
Tremblay said they’ve seen businesses where trucks have rammed into the entrance before, but nothing recently that would fall into the same category. As the matter remains under investigation, police are hoping that something from the footage will be familiar to members of the public.
