RCMP Report Pt. 2: Men charged for assault, threats, identify fraud
Battlefords RCMP made two arrests on March 26 related to an incident where men uttered threats and refused to leave a residence.
The call that evening reported two unwanted males in a home just outside North Battleford that not only refused to depart, but claimed to have a firearm. Members arrived and arrested the pair and did not locate a firearm, but one suspect did have ammunition.
As a result, 25-year-old Isaiah Thomas was remanded in custody on charges of uttering threats, obstruction and assault. The other accused, Lorenz Paskimin, faces identity fraud and failing to comply with a release order. Both made their first court appearances on March 28.
