Multiple search warrants executed in Battlefords detachment area

A joint effort from multiple RCMP units resulted in significant seizures of numerous items in the Battlefords area.

Early Friday morning, multiple search warrants were executed in relation to the ongoing investigation, helmed by Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Teams, Warrant Enforcements and Suppressions Teams and the Battlefords RCMP Gang Task Force. This involved members of the Prince Albert, Unity and Saskatoon detachments.

The search warrants were executed at five residences, including one in the rural municipality of Meota, one in the community of Landis and three in North Battleford (1400 block of 101st Street, 1700 block of 103rd Street, 2500 block of Ross Crescent). One other warrant was executed at a commercial property in the North Battleford industrial area (Marquis Avenue).

Large quantities of drugs and a number of firearms were located and seized. The RCMP have stated that more information/specific details will be released early next week.
