New COVID-19 cases back up to triple digits
For the first time since Nov. 26, daily new cases of COVID-19 exceeded 100 cases with the government reporting 105 confirmed today.
Nine new cases were identified in the northern zones of the province; the Far North East (two) and North West (seven).
One new death was also reported today bringing the provincial total to 944 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died.
There are now 627 cases considered active; 88 in the northern zones of the province. This means a 71 case jump from yesterday’s totals.
