Dec 22, 2021 | 6:00 AM

Battlefords RCMP have dealt with multiple vehicle thefts in the past week and are asking the public to keep a vigilant eye.

This past Sunday, two different robberies occurred in North Battleford, including a blue 2004 Mercedes-Benz C230, (Sask Licence 135-MKE) and a blue Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD (Sask Licence 744-MHI).

The following day, another theft occurred at the North Battleford Food Bank on 101st St., where a black 2003 Toyota Corolla (Sask Licence 644-JYB) was taken. Video surveillance shows a suspect wearing a blue and black plaid jacket took the vehicle.

On Tuesday, the detachment received two more thefts reports. The first came from the Travelodge Hotel regarding a white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, with an Alberta plate of BJR-1115. It has a slip tank and the front plate says Garrison Oilwell Servicing. This likely occurred between 8:00 p.m. on Monday and 5:30 a.m. the next morning.

The other theft from Tuesday is that of a red 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (Sask Licence 664-LDZ). Taken from the 1300 block of 96th St. between midnight and 5:00 a.m., the truck has a three-quarter size box with a tonal cover that covers it.

Battlefords RCMP are also dealing with two other searches for stolen vehicles stemming from the previous week.

Police are asking anyone who sees one of these vehicles or who has relevant information on their whereabouts to contact the detachment, 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
