Dec 1, 2021 | 1:00 PM

UPDATE: Kojak Adams and Tejah Starchief have both been located, following several tips from the public.

Battlefords RCMP are searching for two missing teenagers from the area.

Fourteen year-old Tejah Starchief from Mosquito First Nation was reported missing over the weekend after she was last seen Nov. 27 on Carlton Trail running from the area with a second youth who has since been located.

Starchief has brown eyes, brown medium-length hair and was wearing tan pants, a black sweater and had a black backpack with her on Saturday.

Missing since Monday afternoon is 15-year-old Kojak Adams of Sweetgrass First Nation. He’s described as around 5-3 and thin, with brown eyes and short brown hair and has a noticeable scar around his mouth below his nose. Adams was last seen wearing red gym pants, a black hoodie and a black hat. Sightings and social media activity place him in North Battleford during the week.

Speaking to battlefordsNOW, Sgt. Neil Tremblay said their age is of concern, but that they both appear to be evading attempts to locate them.

“We believe they’re likely in and around the city,” he said.

Tremblay added that photos of the two teens will be provided once available.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Starchief or Adams are asked by Battlefords RCMP to call the detachment. Those who wish to remain anonymous can also call 3-10 RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
