One of accused sentenced after pleading guilty in Moosomin case
One of the individuals facing charges related to the death of Damian Moosomin last year was sentenced to serve time in prison after pleading guilty.
Denver Roy, 36, of Sweetgrass First Nation pleaded guilty to the charge of offering an indignity to a dead body in North Battleford provincial court on Oct. 29.
He was sentenced to 10 months custody and nine months probation.
An additional charge of accessory after the fact was withdrawn.
