N.B. non-profits asking for winter coat donations for Share The Warmth campaign
Two local non-profits are once again putting the call out for winter coat donations for children and adults in need.
The Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre is partnering with the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club on the project, with support from SaskEnergy through the Share The Warmth program.
People are asked to donate new or clean gently-used outdoor winter clothing, including coats, outerwear accessories, snowpants and boots.
Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre Executive Director Erin Katerynych said it’s important for everyone in the Battlefords to have suitable clothing to withstand the harsh winter season.
