Police looking for stolen vehicles in Turtleford, surrounding communities
Turtleford RCMP are investigating another off-road vehicle theft.
Police received a report of a quad theft occurring overnight at a residence in the Town of Turtleford on Tuesday. It’s described as a red Honda 300 4×4, with a black wooden tool box attached to the front and a black two-up seat with side compartments on the back.
Cpl. Dwight Sacrey of the Turtleford RCMP detachment said they’ve seen an increase in all-terrain vehicle thefts in the region in recent months.
“This time of the year, people use quads more frequently, for things like hunting,” he said. “So more of them are likely left outside unattended.”
