Conditions remain hot and dry

RMs of Mayfield, Douglas and Meeting Lake all under fire bans

The Rural Municipalities of Mayfield, Douglas, and Meeting Lake all have full fire bans now in effect.

The bans were called due to hot, dry conditions in the area.

No burning of any type is permitted.

Significant rainfall is needed to improve conditions.

The bans are in effect until further notice.
