Two people have been charged with first degree murder following a seven-month investigation into a suspicious death in Medstead, SK.

Jonathan Swiftwolfe, 27, and Cassandra Fox, 24, are each facing one count of first degree murder, in connection to the death of Bradley John Ham.

On Nov. 27, 2020, Glaslyn/Turtleford RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male located near a grid road, approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Glaslyn.

The male was identified as 54-year-old Bradley John Ham, who had connections in the Prince Albert, North Battleford and Saskatoon areas.

The death was determined to be suspicious and Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit South took over the investigation.

On July 5, Fox was arrested without incident at Pine Grove Correctional Centre in Prince Albert. She appeared in court and her next appearance is in North Battleford on Aug. 5.

Swiftwolfe was arrested on Wednesday without incident at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary. He also appeared in court and was scheduled to appear Friday at North Battleford Provincial Court.
