RCMP Report: search for missing teens continues
Battlefords RCMP saw a sharp increase in case files this week, with 544 calls for service.
Despite the uptick, it was quiet in terms of significant cases, aside from two local teens remaining missing.
Of the eight missing person cases this week, only the files on 13 year-olds Skyler Tinker and Aliyah Natomagan of North Battleford remain active. The pair were initially reported missing in May and after briefly being found, they went missing again.
Police believe that they are in Saskatoon, but their whereabouts have not yet been confirmed. Sgt. Neil Tremblay said while they’re actively looking for them, along with Saskatoon Police, the situation is slightly less serious than before.
