Traffic rerouted for multiple projects in North Battleford

Jun 2, 2021 | 2:53 PM

The City of North Battleford has multiple road closures today.

The 1200 block of 102nd Street and 19th Avenue between Bowers Drive and Walker Drive are allowing no through traffic, due to a water service repair and changing of SaskPower poles respectively. The 102nd work is expected to finish by 5:00 p.m., while the 19th Avenue pole replacement should finish within the hour.

Territorial Drive has a partial closure between Wearing Road and Millar Road, due to asphalt crack sealing. This is scheduled to finish by 4:30 p.m.

There are two ongoing projects in the city affecting traffic. One is partial closure on work at the access point from Frontier Mall to Carlton Trail and between Montana’s and Comfort Inn & Suites, which began April 21 and is scheduled to finish June 28. The other is the street closure on Battleford Road to Hereford Street, due to demolition of the old Saskatchewan Hospital. That project, which kicked off on January 11, is expected to finish by the end of July.
