19 year-old arrested following incident at Saulteaux First Nation

A 19 year-old male from Saulteaux First Nation has been charged with aggravated assault, stemming from an incident on May 16.
Battlefords RCMP and EMS responded to a call from a residence at Saulteaux First Nation early Sunday morning, which resulted in a 28 year-old male inside being transported to hospital with serious injuries. RCMP Major Crime Unit North was called in following further investigation.
As a result, Mitchell Night was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault and on Monday, he made his first court appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court. He appeared in court via video today.
