North Stars add talent from across the border

Apr 24, 2021 | 12:00 PM

The Battlefords North Stars announced a number of new player signings this week, including four from across the border.

Head coach and general manager of the Stars, Brayden Klimosko, said they’re looking forward to seeing how things come together this fall. There are so many young players hungry to make the jump to the junior ranks and make an impact with the team.

“Everyone’s going to be competing for spots and it’s going to be a work in progress as we may not have a ton of experience, but I know we’re going to have a high compete level,” Klimosko said.

“We’re really excited about these signings and seeing what they can all bring at the next level. It’s going to be about who can transfer their game to the junior level.”

Alex Senf

Skilled forward Alex Senf scored 26 goals and 61 points in his final season of high school hockey in his hometown of Fargo North Dakota, during the 2019-20 season.
