Insp. Tom Beck of the Battlefords RCMP detachment is leaving his role as Officer in Charge.
He is leaving the area to take a new posting up north in Whitehorse, Yukon. Staff Sgt. Jason Teniuk will take over the role. Beck has served as the detachment’s head since June 2019.
Mayor David Gillan thanked Beck for his years of service to the Battlefords and wished him well in his new role moving forward, during a short gift presentation in honour of the Inspector’s departure.
