Chamber announces business awards finalists

The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce has announced finalists for the upcoming Battlefords Business Excellence Awards (BBEX).
The awards will be presented at a gala ceremony Oct. 2 at the Event Centre in the Gold Eagle Casino. This year marks the event’s 25th anniversary.
Chamber president Terry Caldwell said the ceremony is a highlight of the year for area businesses, and a great way to celebrate the contributions of local businesses.
“It is very important that we celebrate business in the Battlefords,” he said. “I think this is an ideal opportunity to show our strengths for the future … It really does help to acknowledge and to promote competition too.”
