Productive harvest season in Battlefords area

As August draws to a close and harvest season continues in Saskatchewan, the outlook in the Battlefords region appears to be a positive one overall.   

Shane Kolenosky, Marketing Manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions, says harvest in the Battlefords has been a pretty smooth process this year with things continuing to improve as the season progresses.

“It’s going well,” Kolenosky said. “A little bit of a slow progress so far but it’s starting to pick up. Pulses are getting combined right now, canola’s getting swathed and the odd cereal field is getting combined, but they are really just getting into it. “
