COVID-19 exposure at Lloydminster Dental business
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is attempting to notify staff of possible exposure to COVID-19 at Orion Dental Group in Lloydminster.
As in all investigations of the virus, contact tracing is for those who would have been in close proximity with the infected individual(s). Because the SHA has been unable to obtain a list of staff working at the office, officials are asking anyone who worked there between March 8-11 to contact Public Health immediately and self-isolate if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
The SHA is also advising residents to continue to follow the current pandemic guidelines and to consider getting the Health Canada COVID Alert app.
As of March 23, there have been 31,991 positive cases in the province, along with 30,100 recoveries and 419 deaths, which is a fatality rate of 1.3 per cent. There are currently 152 hospitalizations and the current active case total sits at 1,472. So far, 149,209 vaccinations have been administered.
