Around 12:45 p.m. this afternoon, the west and central areas of North Battleford were affected by an unplanned power outage.

The outage, which was caused by an undetermined accident, lasted approximately 36 minutes, when SaskPower restored all power to the areas, with the exception of four businesses.

SaskPower also told battlefordsNOW that the businesses that are still affected by the outage are Humpty’s, Gamex Bingo, Canadian Motel and Petro-Canada on the Highway 16 Bypass. According to the company, power will be restored to those businesses at 10 p.m.
