City proposing zero per cent tax increase for operations, one per cent for capital for next budget
The City of North Battleford’s administration will be proposing a zero per cent property tax increase for operations, and a potential one per cent property tax increase for the city’s capital projects for the new budget for the year ahead.
The recommendation will be presented during the first regular meeting of the new council in November. The next council will consider the proposal when budget deliberations start later this fall.
“That is for the next council to decide,” City Manager Randy Patrick said.
The city discussed the proposal at council’s recent meeting.
