Police ask for help in Lashburn home invasion investigation

Oct 7, 2020 | 2:39 PM

Maidstone RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating a truck from a home invasion in Lashburn on Tuesday.

That evening, police received a report of the incident at around 11:30 PM. The initial investigation revealed two suspects dressed in all black clothing, with black balaclavas and gloves, broke in and assaulted the homeowner. They are believed to be armed with two firearms.

The suspects stole cash and personal items, as well as a 2011 grey F-150 truck with a Saskatchewan license plate of 222 KCN, though that plate may have been changed. The truck also has after-market rims with camouflaged inlays, browning logos on the rear window, and a bright pink vanity plate on the front.

At this time, officers believe the theft is isolated. Anyone with information about the incident or who may have seen the truck are asked to contact Maidstone RCMP, their local police service, or Crime Stoppers.
