One of accused in Mark Douglas Jonson homicide investigation heading to trial

One of the two accused facing a charge connected to the death of Mark Douglas Jonson will be headed to trial next year.
Nicolas Buck, 22, who is charged with first-degree murder, is set to stand trial starting Feb. 22, 2021, running for two weeks at Queen’s Bench Court in Battleford.
Jonson, 61, was found dead in a home on 15 Ave. and 100 St. in North Battleford on July 5, 2019.
The co-accused, David Keller, 47, is also charged with first-degree murder in Jonson’s death. He is scheduled for a pre-trial meeting on Aug. 7, 2020.
