Sask. celebrates Canada Day with online hub

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many Canada Day celebrations in Saskatchewan to cancel or move online.

The Provincial Capital Commission has put together an online hub which includes performances by Saskatchewan artists.

“Despite the current pandemic, the Provincial Capital Commission and its partners are looking to create a safe, inclusive, at-home experiences to help celebrate Canada Day here in Saskatchewan,” Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission Lori Carr said in a media release.

Jess Moskaluke, Hunter Brothers, The North Sounds, Shawn Jobin, Davy Sage and Eliza Mary Doyle are among the artists who specially recorded performances.
