Missing man found murdered

The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating after the body of a 20-year-old North Battleford man was found in the backyard of a property in the 1500 block of 105th Street.
Battlefords RCMP officers were called to the property on May 16. The deceased was identified as 20-year-old Damian Moosomin, who was reported missing to police on May 11.
The death appeared suspicious in nature and Battleford RCMP requested assistance from the RCMP Major Crime Unit – South. Investigators have determined Moosomin was the victim of a homicide. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Regina.
