Momentum building: Radiothon now over $80,000

The BUH Foundation’s On Air for Health Care Radiothon is gaining momentum and the proof is in the new total.

While the radiothon’s total was around $48,000 around 11 a.m., that total has now jumped to over $80,000.

Until 6 p.m. CJNB, Q98 and 93.3 the Rock are broadcast live from the lobby of the BUH raising funds to purchase a new cardiac telemetry system to allow patients with cardiac disease to move freely around the BUH while still being monitored in ICU.

This year’s Radiothon goal is $217,000 to cover the cost of the state of the art equipment.
