Battlefords RCMP were able to identify and charge the person responsible for the break in and thefts of firearms from a local business earlier this week.

As a result of their investigation and numerous tips from the public, Battlefords RCMP identified and charged 26-year-old Jeffery Alexander Holliday of North Battleford.

He has been charged with break and enter to steal firearms, two counts of break and enter with intent, possession of a firearm while prohibited from doing so, and uttering threats.

RCMP said Holliday is not in custody and an arrest warrant has been issued. Holliday may be in possession of several firearms, and anyone with information should call the RCMP.
