Innovation Credit Union steps up with $100K donation for New Beginnings
For the second straight week, the New Beginnings Fundraising Campaign for the new Saskatchewan Hospital has received a major donation helping it inch closer to its $8 million campaign goal.
On Wednesday, March 14, Leslie and Irene Dube of Saskatoon donated $1 million to the campaign which will be used to purchase medical equipment and furniture for the new Saskatchewan Hospital. The hospital is being built in North Battleford and yesterday Innovation Credit Union stepped up with a $100,000 donation towards the initiative.
“The new hospital will provide the most vulnerable in our society the caring, compassion and time to heal that is essential to recovery and lies at the very heart of mental health care,” said Innovation CEO Daniel Johnson. “We are proud to be part of this campaign.”
New Beginnings fundraising lead Corinne Bernier Delainey said every donation at this stage is vital to the fundraising goal.
