Police seek suspect in double hotel armed robberies

Jan 18, 2020 | 10:59 AM

The Cut Knife and Warman RCMP are looking for a man who may have committed two different robberies Friday.

According to a media release from Saskatchewan RCMP, at 3:35 p.m. yesterday police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a hotel in Radisson at the 300 block of Albert Street. At 6:40 p.m. police received another report of an armed robbery at a hotel in Marsden on 11 Railway Ave. E.

The man seems to be working alone and police believe the two robberies are related. If anyone spots the individual do not approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous. Police believe the suspect is left-handed based on surveillance footage. The investigation is still ongoing.

The man stands at approximately six feet tall and has a heavier build weighing around 250 lbs with a black goatee and a darker skin complexion. He was wearing a face mask with eye and moth holes, a black two-tone sweater, beige work gloves, coloured Nike shoes and dark coloured pants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local RCMP detachment or by calling 310-RCMP.
