The Funeral Service for the late Herbert “Herb” Troesch will be conducted from the Edam Catholic Church on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Peter Paase officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the Lady Minto Health Centre.

Herb was born on May 20, 1914, the oldest son of Jake and Maryanne Troesch on their farm outside of Edam. He was blessed with a long and healthy life that spanned two world wars, the Great Depression and man landing on the moon. Herb had a keen interest in history and became the family historian. He enjoyed telling and writing stories right up to the end of his days. Herb is predeceased by his wife, Anne; his parents, Jacob and Maryanne Troesch; his brothers, Leo and Martin; and his sisters, Lena,Mina, Fran and Mary.
       

Herb is survived by his brother, Joe (Ann); his  sister-in-law, Noella; his children, Denis (Melanie), Robert (Bertha), Carol (Garry), Gerry and Maureen; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His memory will be cherished by all of them.
