Gordon Roy Olson was born on September 7th, 1951 to parents Alfred and Frances in Edam, Saskatchewan.  After completing his schooling, Gordon moved to Saskatoon to attend the University Of Saskatchewan College Of Agriculture.  Gordon was a farmer at heart but also worked for Turtleford Esso Bulk Fuel & Fertilizer, Thom’s farm and worked maintaining oil wells.

Gordon married his love, Margaret “Anne” Chaney and together they had three children David, Jan and Jim. Gordon loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed his time out at the farm tinkering and gathering firewood.

Gordon is predeceased by his wife Anne, his parents Alfred & Frances and his brother Leonard Broccolo.  He will be dearly missed by his family, son David (Christine) & their children Oscar, Harvey & Alice, daughter Jan and son Jim (Janelle) & their children Reid, Quinn and Paige, his siblings Valerie Sehn, Donna Smith and Bonnie Cook.  Funeral Service was held on Wednresday, February 20th, 2019 in Edam, SK with Joyce Salie officiating.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.sallowsandmcdonald.com.  Jennifer Wildeman of Sallows & McDonald ~ Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home in care of arrangements. 306-445-2418.
