Verna is dearly loved by her husband Wilbert, son Jason, grandchildren Dakota, Angel, Peyton and Amelia, sisters Viola Dumont, Lucy (Henry) Whitecalf and Sylvia Weenie, brothers Roy (Diane) Atcheynum, Sabbut Atcheynum, Darwin (Kim) Atcheynum and  Eldon (Marion) Atcheynum, sister-in-law Audrey Eagleshield, brother-in-law Eli Whitford as well as numerous nieces, nephews, adopted brothers & sisters and friends.

Verna was predeceased by her parents Ben & Bernadette Atcheynum, mother-in-law Martha Whitford, father-in-law Phillip Whitford, sisters Genevieve, Joanne and Roselina “Ringie”, brothers Frances, Kenneth, Gavin and Roderick, niece Velma Atcheynum, nephews Joseph Atcheynum and Jason “Crunch” Atcheynum. Wake Service will be held Wednesday June 5th-Thursday June 6th with Funeral Service to be held Friday June7th, 2019 at 11:00am in Sweetgrass First Nation Community Hall.
