Vera Eileen Weenie-Kasokeo passed away at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK with her loving family by her side on Saturday, September 14th, 2019.  Vera is survived by her mother Katie Weenie, her loving children Derek, Dale (Trudy) and Michelle (Cedric), her step-children Darryl Kasokeo, Doreen (Ernie) Scoles and Marilyn (Gordon), sisters Marjorie Bear, Nancy Checkosis, Darlene Fryingpan, Reberda (Derek) Bear and Viola Semaganis, brothers Clifford Bear, Leonard (Violet) Bear, Richard Bear and David (Arlene) Pelletier, grandchildren Kehew, Danielle, Trent, Delano, Autumn and Adam, her great grandchild Elias as well as numerous adopted children, grandchildren and chapans, many extended family, aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, adopted siblings and many friends.  Vera is predeceased by her husband Arthur Kasokeo, father Elijah Bear, brother George Gordon Weenie, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Weenie and Charles Bear & Edith Sapp, sisters Lorraine Bear, Darlene Bear and Minnie Partridge, her adopted sister Irene Skeenom, uncles Louie Weenie and Gabriel Weenie and her auntie Phyllis Bear.  Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, September 18th at the Poundmaker Veterans Hall.
